200 question.
Ok well my friend has an old Audi 200 non Quattro with 166,000 miles on it. and the red and yellow light in the middle of dash just stays on. we've checked everything else that the owners manual saids that they stand for and i'm just wondering if theres any way of either re-setting the PCM (if there is one on these older Audi's) or what else should we check to try and make them go off.

RE: 200 question.
sry... ok the red light thats moving is for oil and brake related stuff and the yellow one (its a circle) is for like the engine coolant, wiper fluid, battery voltage and such, and some other fluids (i forget the other ones sry). I might have those colors backwards but i'm pretty sure those are it. and sry i'm not too firmiliar with Audi's, since i'm more of a domestic person.

RE: 200 question.
I know this sounds dumb, but have you checked what the lights are telling you?
That might be the first time, or find out why they are all on in the first place. It might be as simple as ground that came loose,
of it might mean that you have a wiring short.
If it's a computer thing, you can try to unhook the battery for a while, to reset it. The other lights like the low coolant & low washer fluid are simple
sensors. They will not be reset until you fill the fluids, or short the sensors. Since they are all on, either you have a broke down car, or a real wiring problem.
