I just bought a 1998 Audi A4 2.8L Quattro, the car ran fine and every thing till i get off the exit on the way home. I have no clue what happened, but the car would rev up and wouldnt slip into gear, and there was an awful smell. When you slam it into gear it would just rev. I finally got home (barely) and pulled it into the drive way. Now when i turn on the car, the engine wont start. I hold down the clutch and just the battery turn on (the radio lights everything, just not the engine). Whats wrong with it? Do i need a new clutch kit? Please email me at gzmeski@aol.com
