Post New Headlight Bulbs?

So i have had my 05 A4 for three months and im sick of the factory color bulbs.

1. Any specific brand anyone recommends?
2. Can i just replace the factory bulbs or do i need a kit?
3. I like the bright white...any other feedback on sick colors? My A4 is charcoal grey.

Thanks

HIDs, period. $65 shipped on eBay, 30 minutes or less to install, tremendously bright output, way more style. Order 4300k or 6000k color temperature with the proper bulb for your car (H7, H1, etc) and you'll be extremely pleased.

yeah thats what id do. is there an advantage of 4300k o 6k over 8k or 10k cuz it seems like most people like 4300k or 6k?

4300k and 6000k are closer to pure white....when you get hotter (the k means kelvin) such as 8000k or 10000k, the light turns a purpleish color, and it just isnt as bright....
BUT if you prefer the look of a tinted headlight...then get what you want, but like these guys said, get an HID kit with (preferrably 6000k) and you will be extremely pleased

Use the search feature at the top and search "VVME" - you'll find that probably 90% of the people on this forum with aftermarket HIDs bought them from those guys.

go with a 55 watt 5000k kit from DDMtuning.com even more light output speciallt for halogen projectors its the best.. and they have a lifetime warrenty and ive had em for 2 years with no problems and nothing but happiness. there also about 100 bucks shipped for H7 which is what your halogen projectors are in a a4... my friend just went from halogens to 35 watt and i pulled up in mine with 55satt and completly washed his away.. now hes got a 55 watt kit and there amazing.. and not any more blinding than a 35 watt kit.. go with 55s if your spending the money and get the best company out there.
