Hey I can't open my audis hood.

96 audi a4 - I can't open the damn hood, I just got it and I'm clue less help?

There is a release lever that pops out of one of the audi rings in the front of the grill

I have a a3 2005 model my cable has snapped how cam I open the bonnet from outside amd will the alarm go off
