Not really sure, but if i had to take an educated guess it would be that they made the rings out of clear plexiglass. Probably had someone cutthem on a machine, and then hard-wired some lights.
I didn't get that creative, but i took some black vinyl tape and cut out the Audi logo and slapped it on my 3rd brake light.

Dude where the hell you get all those... what are they made out of again??
If its soft at all that'd be a sick stomp pad for my snowboard... any word on where to get/ how much you'd be willing to part with it for???

you could probably lazer cut the 4 rings out with you guesed it, a lazer cutter, cut out the desired ring shape in the bumper, epoxy them on, then on teh back, put up a light pannel or a few led's if you like, and wire them into your existing brake lights

depending n if you wanted it on at all times or at certain times you could hardwire it, and hook up a switch inside of your car to turn it on and off, as far as mounting it i would say that you would have to take off your stock rings (obviously) and then slit a small opening into the body for the wires to go through, then slap a led behind each of the rings, in whatever locations you would want, but that wouldnt light up the whole thing i dont think, you would probably have to use some sort of fiber optics in the actual rings themselves in order to acomplish what they had in the video, thats just my 2 cents.
