that would work but you would get a very "spotty" look.
we did pretty much the same thing on a corvette front cover plate at my shop. i suppose it would be a bit more difficult on the back of an audi but, you could trace the rings on the same spot were the emblem would be and file out and cut most of the metal out and use casting resin to fill in the gaps and place two or three led's and seal it all up and wire to brake lights and SHAM WOW light up audi ring brake lights
