Hello all,

Does anyone have any information on installing an aftermarket BT handsfree kit in 2003 A4?

There's an article posted on AudiWorld that outlines the installation of a Motorola 98500 kit in a 2001 A4 http://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec141.shtml (the writer's vehicle is equipped with a Symphony I /w Bose speakers).
I've been doing some searching and I'm still not clear if this kit will work for me as I have a Symphony II with Bose. I figured this would be a good place to ask questions and get some clarifications.

If any of you knowledgable folks could tell me for certain whether or not the Motorola 98500 is the kit I need, I'd be extremely appreciative. If this kit doesn't work, I'd also be interested in hearing about which ones will -- I'm not that particular on which brand it might be as long as it's good quality equipment.

I also have a Motorola V710 mobile phone if that matters (which I'm doubting it does).

Also, I'm assuming that I'll be able to use the A4's mic and speakers when BT connectivity is made, is this correct?

Your best bet would be to get a BT kit. I've got one and it works perfectly.

If memory serves me correctly, your phone is compatible with the BT kit.
