So i am a new owner of a 2007 audi a6 and i have to say i love this car. My one and only issue with the vehicle is it does not have an ami, and i would love this feature to get a viseeo tune2air. But ive called my audi dealership where i live and they cant help me for anything. I ask how much to get it installed they tell me its not possible which i know it is because ive seen vehicles in this year with them. I get the part number 4E0 035 785 (A,F... Etc.) [i dont know what the letter at the end has to do with the system, so if someone could tell me what that means itd be greatly appreciated] anyways i call the dealership with the part number and they say they cant find the part number im their system and that no ami shows up as an option for my vehicle (based off of my vin i gave them). My whole point is should i just buy the ami off ebay and install it my self? Is this possible to so with rhe 2g MMI system? If not what is my other alternative to playing music throgh my vehicle (other than cds because i dont like having them or an fm transmitter because they sound awful)?
