Post 2002 A4 Chassis Control Module problem

So my driver side front blinker went out and I have tested everything, but everything seems to be good so I am thinking it is the Chassis control module, the part# is 8E0907279-E, I have a 2002 A4 Quattro 3.0, is it possible for me to replace that part with a 8E0907279-F? If so what is the difference? I need this fixed asap because its a bit ghetto driving around with one light out on my car, not my style at all!

Lift the carpet up in front of the drivers seat , reach your hand down there & see if there is any water?

None whatsoever, but I did buy the new part and it did not fix the problem, any ideas at what the issue could be??

So you replaced the comfort module? Did you code it to the vehicle? Did you call the dealer & see if that part number is compatible?
If i were to throw parts at it i would start off with something cheaper like a hazard switch.

so is just your blinker out? It could be the actual plug that holds the blinker light. U should be able to swap sides fairly easy. That holder unscrews out and u just swap it to see if thats your problem.

I had my mechanic look and he thought that was the root of the problem so I purchased it and replaced it but no luck. Where is the hazard switch and would that cause my blinker to go out completely??

It's that emergency flasher switch somewhere in the dash or console.

well when i turn on my emergency flashers, my blinkers work fine except for the one that is out, the back ones blinks normal. Its just my front driver side blinker. So I doubt it is the emergency flasher. Just not sure what else can cause the problem with my blinker, have had lights go out before and i replace them and they are good, this one is a way bigger issue then a bulb, but just not sure what step to take next.

It appears its something i cannot see, we have swapped the light to see if it works on the passanger side, and it was good. We tested each part of the headlight as well, so not sure what else it can be.
