Just picked the wife up a 00 Audi A4, Indian Red

She literally wont listen to the radio but every once in a while will play a CD. 99% of her music comes from her ipod.

I know Audi actually offers an Ipod adapter but I dont know what years and stuff it will work with.

This car is a 00 and it does have the Bose stereo, if it matters, however it does not have a six disk in the trunk, nor in the dash, which I thought was very odd.

I dont want an FM transmitter so what is my best option?

 

I have a 2001 A4 and I just installed a ipod adapter.This particular model plugs into the cd changer control on the back of your radio.It works flawlessly and can be controlled through your car stereo or through the ipod wheel.I payed $89.00 for it and it cost be about $20 to get it installed at a local car stereo place.Here is the site www.indashpc.org Good luck Joe R

I have the wiring in the trunk for the cd changer but no unit. Can this thing plug in to that wiring in the trunk?

 

should plug into the connector used for the cd changer. so yes, it should plug into the wiring in the trunk
