Surface Scratches all over the car
#12
Some dirt bonds to you finish and does not come off with washing. You can feel these by runing your finger tips accross the finish, it will not be smooth.
There are more complete instructions on the internet or with a clay bar kit, but basically it involves washing and drying your car, spraying the finish with a quick detailer and running a clay bar over it. Kits usally come with the clay bar, quick detailer and maybe a microfiber cloth. Clay bars will remove any wax on the finish so when you are done you may want to rewax/reseal.
Clay bars will not remove swirls or any scratches in the clear coat, they need to be buffed out, which removes the surrounding clear to the level of the imperfection.
