Thelen Audi Bay City, Michigan
My first Thelen Audi experience did not get off to a positive start. At delivery, the bussiness manager, Kelly Isbell, told the sales consultant, Mike Vermeesch, to have me pay an additional $350.00 (parts and labor) over the agreed price of the Q7 4.2 for the non-license plate trim in the grill! This is a no charge (NC)item from Audi in states that do not have front plates. So, I walked out..., but did buy the Audi afterall.
I took the Q7 (with 1200 miles) in for it's required first 6 month service and for a recall, only latter found several things not done or done properly and dents and chips in the finish of two alloy wheels. Thelen Service, Shannon Greenwood, accepted blame for the damage to the wheels and told me they would pay for the repairs. A long story short, Joseph Thelen said latter,"the indentations are barley visible" and reneged our understanding and refused me reimbursement for the repairs.
Thelen Audi Sales is ethically challenged, and Thelen Service is worse, they are inept. Avoid this dealership at all cost. My next purchase this fall will not be an Audi R8, but another Porsche GT3. Money does talk louder than words!
