The owner says the heater core hasn't been replaced, neither have the suspension bushings. The valve seals have been replaced.
I'm no mechanic, but still pretty handy and wouldn't shy away from diving into a project, but how hard is it to change the bushings? Does anyone know of a good thread or site that goes through the process to replace these? If I can't do it, about how much would I expect to pay a mechanic to replace the bushings?

The bushings on the coupe shouldn't be as complicated as it is on 100/200 models but still requires heavy duty press. In the past I have used various stacks of washers tubes and other improvised items together with a threaded rod to get the job done, now I have a 12 tone hydraulic press. Or you can take the parts off and take it a machine shop or even NAPA and they will do it for you for a fee.

I just got mine, and even with the little probs it had, its a way cool car! Hatchbacks are commin back into style too, and its an audi It is kinda expensive to keep on the road but you can get that with any car. Make sure there are NO ELECTRICAL PROBSsss!! I think most Audis have them, even new ones, for some reason. When i get back to the states, i cant bring mine with me (unless i wanna pay 2 grand to convert it to US specs).. so i will be looking for one as well
