So I bought another audi 5000. I was just so impressed with the one I already have. Right now I have and '87 5000s quattro.

The one I just purchased is an '85 5000 turbo 2wd. It is in much worse condition (coolant and oil leak, faded clearcoat and bald front tires) but the leather interior is immaculate and all the heat and power stuff works!

The intention here was to simply swap the leather seats and doorcards into my car but my Dad interjected and now I'm fixing it up as well to give to my brother. Oh well. The interior is still going into mine. I love the leather!

I'll be sure to take pictures and keep you guys updated! I'm so excited! That was the one thing my car was missing!

At $400 this one was supposed to be the parts car. however it runs perfectly. Two leaks, a battery and two new wheels and it'll be as good condition as the one I already have. I'm tempted to just leave the leather in.

Just spent the last hour swapping the doorcards. Whew. What a pain! Anyway they are all in my car now and looking great and mine are all in that car and looking just as they did in mine.

Did fine a few interesting things out but no problems.

next are the seats. Discovered that the seats will bolt right into mine. however, mine will not just bolt into that one and now that I'm going to me using that car I suppose I shouldn't ruin the interior. Therefore I am going to just swap the leather and leave the power and heating elements.

That was the goal anyway. I guess I really don't need power seats. Bummer.
