Find a guy with a cheep flatbed and offer him a couple hundred maybe $500 to move the vehicle. Maybe a junkyard or backyard mechanic.. depending upon which end of the trip has the shabbiest garages you might find someone running empty one way and get him to do it really cheep.

I work in an area with two salvage yards that have a load of flatbeds coming empty and full. If I needed to move a vehicle a long distance I'd see if I could connect with one of those guys.

If the damn thing is running you might even register and insure it for a short time and just drive it. PS Join AAA and get the plus membership just in case!
