I have come across this audi that I might consider buying, but being completely new to audis, I need some advice on this model. First of all, how many miles do these cars usually run for before big ticket items start breaking? What are things to look out for? What is the car worth? Where do I have to check for rust issues? Also, if there is anything fishy about this ad, please tell me. I made a mistake buying my last car and I don't want to do it again. Thank you from a fellow motorhead.

Selling our trusty 1985 Audi 4000S Quattro after 15 years of ownership. Maintained by a professional import car technician (me) as my wife's daily driver. White exterior, minor accident damage on rear corner. Grey fabric interior, a little worn, but still presentable. 198K miles, but still runs great, doesn't smoke or leak. Currently rolling on 15" Audi alloys with new 205/60HR15 performance tires. Included w/ car are 4 steel wheels and NordFrost 185/65R15 snow tires. An all wheel drive car with snow tires is great fun in the winter! Heater/defroster/AC works great, and heated seats will toast your buns.

car was sideswiped on rear corner, scraped paint off, showing surface rust now.
