I just purchased a 93' 100s 2.8 V-6, w/ auto tranny. I know very little about audi's, ive read reviews on the 100s and they were very positive. this car was taken to the dealer for service and well taken care of. the car has 156k on the clock.
Is there any known or common issues i need to know about ?
Is there a downloadable repair manual ?
Is there any performance parts avail. for the 100s ?

any advice i would appreciate it...

 

Timing belt -- Timing belt -- Make sure it is done every 80-90K

You will need to purchase a manual from Bentley

 

The Bentley manuals on these cars are the BEST way to go, though they're pricy. Probably around $200. You might get lucky and find someone who has a used set for cheap.

 

Do you need a manual for your 89 200QT? I have the complete Bentley set (3 books) for the 89-90-91 Audi 100/200.

Since the vehicle is gone I am willing to sell it for 1/2 of the list $200 list price.

BTW My 200QT went 350K before I gave up!

 

I guess I never realized how cheaply I got my Bentley manuals for. I paid the guy I got the car from $50 for mine.

 

I would have given them away if I got enough for the car!
