After doing a major repair on my 1989 Audi 200 Turbo, I noticed a hose dangling on the ground and don't know what it's for or where it goes. It connects to a metal tube that ends right next to the strter solenoid. Does anybody know where this connects? Thanks, Mike

 

most likely a vacum hose ... a picture would be good help

 

Any one have3 a diagram for the vacuume lines . I can see I have several disconnected and or missing but I have no idea where they go

 

The hose probably is the drain for the "shelf" in the intake manifold. There is a metal tube that runs down from there to drain any liquid that pools in the base of the intake manifold. The bottom of the hose on mine was just zip tied to a bundle of wires.
