ok so, car is 87 audi 5000 s quattro (2.3)

new fuel pump
new fuel pump relay

now the mechanic is saying there is a problem with the computer/electronics, thy said everything on its own works fine i.e. (pump, relays, ignition components)
maybe i'm missing something obvious....
cost is rising fast it goes to the audi dealership service center tomorrow morning for further testing....

deslerships saying "there not set up to work on something that old" wow thanks guys

anyways, mechanic said all fuses were good

i recently installed an amp and amplifier (maybe 1-2 months ago) i have a haynes manuel it says it has the main fuse holder (under hood) and a relay holder under facia

kept blowing fuses for instrument cluster cruise control reverse lights it was a 15 ampo fuse

i put a 20 amp fuse in there (higher resistance duh lol) and they worked again, didn't blow

when i told my father about this (after i did it of course) he said that was probably a bad idea , maybe the wire started burning away and touched another one?

i need help bad, this is my only way to work!!!!! HELP GUYS

from sjtautotechnic they say theres a way to pull fault codes,

there is sum sort of aftermarket alarm system in my car.... it was attached to the RADIO and will lock the ignition when it is activated , maybe the alarm won't let the car turn over? (car is firing)

the problem is probably with the wires .... the bigger fuse caused for some to melt and now its just shorting out .... you need wieing diagrams and a volt meter
