Default dead S4

Well we had about 8 inches of rain about 4 days ago and guess what the drain under the cowl panel was plugged up. vacuumed about 2 gallons of water from the floorboards and now that the car is dry the car wontrun.It did run but the check engine light was on.now the check engine light wont light when cranking and the car wont start. the other thing that wont work is the inside lock switch(wierd).Any help would be appreciated

where is the drain under the cowl panel located? I have water every time it rains on the pass. side floorboard. I feel your pain As for it not starting, I am not sure. Did you check all your fuses? I think I burnt a few relays/fuses out when I had heavy condensation inside the car.

OK -- guys make sure the cowl and roof drains are clear.

94s4 - it might be dry on the surface but I'd bet it is still wet under the carpet where the wires are.
