Dashboard lights??
The dashboard lights do not work in my 1988 90, is there a brightness or dimmer ****? or do i have to take out the dash, it aloy seems to be the light for the ttach and speedometer.
Also the drivers door **** does not work, and hints on removing the door panel?

RE: Dashboard lights??
For removing the door panel, its best to have a flat tool that pops the panel out of the plastic snaps that hold it in. Dont worry about breaking these snaps at first, they are relatively inexpensive to replace. Also, for instrument cluster lights, take off the steering column cover (two screws accessible from underneath) and remove the instrument panel. Once you are looking at the back of the panel, you can pull out and plug in lights to replace the burnt ones. Again these lights are inexpensive but buy a bunch to replace over the years. In my experience, after I replace 4 of em, 4 more will go out once I out it all back together!

RE: Dashboard lights??
The dash lights switch is between coolant temperature gauge and the tachometer. It has three positions. Push on it and it will cycle the Auto-Check system. If you pull on the **** and turn left or right this will adjust the clock. In the normal center position turn the **** to adjust brightness this function only works when the lights are on. If this doesn’t help than most likely the rheostat or potentiometer has burned out. Easy to take out and replace, don’t know if it is available by itself.
