'89 200
Just bought an '89 200 w/98k on it. Tell me everything I need to know about this car. Oh yeah whats stock boost. I'm not interrested in tricking this car out, just wondering. This is my winter snow plow. It's a one owner and in great condition, a few scrathes here and there for the most part a steal. Leave no rock unturned, tell me everything. Thanks forum.

Right now, before you do one mor thing, change the timing belt, the tensioner, the rollers, the water pump, the fluids, and inspect for any sign of leakage from anywhere. Fix those things right now, and you will have a baseline for reference.
I put over 200,000 on my '89 and it never missed a beat until I lost a gear change bearing at around 189,000 miles or so. Wonderful car, and even with the transmission overhaul it cost less than 8 cents per mile.
Take good care of it, and whatever you think you want to drive in the summer you will probably want to give up and just drive the Audi.
