I'v seen a V-8 from an A8 installed in one. It is about a $4500 proposition, which is roughly one third the price of a turbo conversion on your car. 2Bennett Audimotive in Davis California does the V-8 swap and it is very very clean. Interestingly the aluminum block V-8 weighs about 35kg less than the iron block in line five that comes in the car. 2Bennett has done several of these for track cars and is finishing off a V-8 conversion Coupe GT right now that the customer want to run past the Cal-EPA referee and register for the street so it must be completely smog legal. A turbo conversion would set you back $12-$15 grand, they require at least 100 hours of labor. The V-8 conversion is a third the price, makes a lot more power and is lighter, plus the powerband of the V-8 would be so much nicer than a high strung turbo.

Thanks for the info will keep that in mind and I actually looked on the web and found some interesting 4000s with 6 and 8 cylinder engines which most were turbo ed which was monstrous lol
