1990 V8 Starts Cold, Not Hot -- Help, Please!
My 1990 V8 recently began to refuse to start when warm. It starts easily cold. It will not start an hour after last running. It cranks beautifully but not the hint of starting. My mechanic says there is no spark and no fuel. He has checked the crank sensor and the cam sensor. These are good. He is not able to read diagnostic codes because, he says, of the aftermarket radio. This is driving him almost (but not quite) as nuts as me. He's had the car a week and a half. If not diagnosed, it is off to the dealer... who I am sure would love to sell me a new control module! Ideas are much appreciated. Thank you!

The Solution
Occurs to me that I need to close this off with the solution!
Turns out that both sensors were shot. So that when my mechanics swapped out one sensor for a good one, he always left a bad sensor in. If you guess that I was the one who figured this out, you are correct. And, yes, the garage charged me for their "diagnosis time."
