1989 Audi 80 injection issue
No good deed goes unpunished it seems. I bought this car to give to my sister who is in a bad situation. I knew the car needed an engine when I got it and thought that it would be super easy to swap engines. It was to an extent, then came the electrical. So far I am pretty sure everything is connected properly but for some reason I am not getting fuel to the injectors. I have plenty of pressure at the distribution valve, but nothing to the main injectors. I have plenty or pressure to the cold start injector itself but it won't go through the injector. I don't understand why I wouldn't have pressure to the other injectors and why the fuel isn't going through the cold start injector especially since this is a mechanical fuel injection system. I know the injection system worked on the old engine because I ran it with a thrown rod. This is a 1989 with a 2.0.

This is the same injection that was used on the bad engine? Are you certain the electrical connection to the differential pressure regulator is good? This is on the side of the fuel distributor if you have CIS-E, also called KE-Jetronic. If that connector is no good or not attached then the car won't run.

Yeah it is the original injection. When I was connecting everything I noticed that plug was damaged so I fixed it. It is just getting frustrating because I need this car out of my shop and to my sis.
