Thanks Audi cious!
Just have to mask off the area of the car paint, make a layer with that selection, then use layer styles with color overlays to change the color. Play with the opacity to get the reflections to come thru. Great to play with different colors on whatever you desire. Here's my "Toucan GS"

So, I was really board and figured I'd give this a shot as well.
Not really sure why everyone is talking about overlays. I just changed the brightness and contrast. [sm=smiley1.gif]

well yeah but i mean come on does that look right too you? I mean hobbes doesnt look right either....The problem is silver is a bitch to get right to begin with and the person who did that "work" on the host picture was a freakin sloppy idiot
