Trying again. Please take a look! Seeking thoughts on this A4
Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and I'm thinking about buying a 2009 A4 3.2 quattro premium plus with 55k miles for $26500 listed.
I was just hoping to get some thoughts from you guys who have more experience with Audi's than I do. Does that seem like a fair price?
-If any of you own, how do you like the A4?
-What are your thoughts on the 3.2 engine vs the 2.0?
-How do you like the Ipod integration?
-Reliability? The car for sale does not have a warranty anymore. Would that -concern any of you?
-How do you like the interior instrument controls for the radio, media, temp etc? Are they easy to use and navigate?
I would greatly appreciate any thoughts, comments or feedback you guys could give. It would help in my decision process. Thanks for any help!

-the A4 is the type of car that will always spoil you. it's an exceptional car that never disappoints.
-the 3.2 is more powerful but the turbo is more fuel efficient. so it's a matter of preference.
-i don't have the ipod thing.
-the car is very reliable. my car ran out of warranty a few months ago and i'm not worried at all.
-the controls are good and simple.

A new A4 premium plus 2.0T costs ~34,000 (with dealer discount); 3.2 engine is no longer offered. So you are looking at roughly 7500 in depreciation for 3 years and 55k miles; whether that 7500 is important is up to you. I went through the same thoughts when I was deciding to buy new or used.
I decided to buy new so I can get the exact options I wanted, get the warranty, and to avoid buying the first year model of the latest generation of A4s (the B8). The fact that Audis depreciate slow also makes it reasonable to buy new.
11 months being an owner so far and I am still thrilled with my purchase. I think 3.2 is no longer offered simply because there was too little benefits to it: 50 extra hp but only a small fraction of a second faster in a 0-60 run, but much lower fuel efficiency. I think the S model's inline 4 is > a full second faster. Ipod integration is just what you'd expect: displays playlists, and the songs sorted by name, artists, etc. I personally use the SD card slot more often. Controls are simply and quick to pick up, I don't have the nav.
