Default sticking key 09

Hi,
Just purchased a 2009 A4 and am frustrated by a frequently recurring issue. I am not able to remove the key from the slot after turning off the car. I have tried turning the steering wheel and pulling on the key but to no avail. It takes one or several re-starts of the car to finally get the key out. Has anyone else had this problem and found the trick to removing the key?
Thanks

If you have other keys attached to the fob, you should take them off.

I had the same issue over and over, but if you wait until you hear a click to pull the key out you won't have the issue. I still feel like it's a design flaw, if the car is off let us take out the key.

I have the same problem, but it only happens some times, and oddly enough... I think when a passenger is exiting at the same time I'm trying to take the key out it sticks.

This could just be coincidental, but has happened 3 times so far.

Default Push it in and wait for the "click"

Don't try to pull the key straight out right after turning it off.
