Replacement foglights and license place lighting
I recently purchased a 2011 A4 S-line, and would like to replace the yellow-ish fog lights with led bulbs. Has anyone done such a replacement? Which are the best bulbs to purchase that match the headlights?
I'm also looking to replace the license plate lighting with similar bulbs.
Anyone?? Thanks in advance!!

These seem popular in the states:

or you could go the xenon replacement route, although fogs won't be doing their proper job!

OEM Plus HID fogs
Last night I installed the HID fog light conversion. It was easy, didn't even have to take off the front tires or the fog light unit.
I used Locite Industrial 2 sided tape to attach the HID Ballast on top of the factory fog light assembly. Then I used zip ties just incase that fails one day, everything I have read is the B5 owners have used this method for years with no problems. Completely plug and play, took about 15 mins per side to install.
The Fogs do match the Xenon's very well, almost perfect. They are brighter then the LED's in the headlights when in parking light mode. I plan on buying the VAG-COM software/wire to turn up the LED's to match.
I recommend these and feel they are worth $106

I installed a HID kit on my fogs on my Subaru Impreza some years age, it was a cheapy chineese HID kit, the end result looked quite good, it worked fine and all, but I did have to do some "modification" to the light house etc. Did you have to mod anything on the Audi to install the kit?
Thansk in advance

We are about to convert my buddies B8 Fogs to 3000k yellow HID kit. Everything is pretty easy and direct plug and play. From what I remember there is no need for error cancelers and since we are using slim ballasts they are very small and can fit just about anywhere.
If anyone want more info on the HID kit PM me with questions. $60 for everything shipped
