Default oil change 2009 B8 A4 2.0 TFSI

Hi Guys,
Anybody done an oil and filter change yet on the new 2.0 Turbo engine ?
Does the engine cover just pull off so that you can get at the oil filter?
The filter is on the top of the engine so is there some valve or whatever to either release the oil into the sump or close it off as you unscrew it - presumably very slowly -otherwise it would run down the front of the engine- messy.
Probably best to suck the oil out rather than take the undershield off and undoing the sump plug.
There is no dipstick so I imagine checking the level of new oil via the media display is a bit of a fiddle. Anyone located a dipstick for this engine?
My car is new so although I'm not ready to do an interim oil and filter change yet I would be interested in how others found the job. Thanks guys .

Yea the cover just pulls off and the guy stuck some rags around the oil filter area so it wouldn't go everywhere... and checking the oil level after was a bit of an annoyance..follow the directions in the manual exactly....Audi really f'd up by not putting a dipstick so u can check the level quickly AND how the oil looks.. I understand they are trying to push the technology but it really subtracts more than it adds.
