I have a question. I cannot find any information about headlight washers on the '09 model at audiusa.com

But when you look hear http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8o_GVkehO4 at 45sek the show the headlights and this model has washers?


Are they not avaible any more?

This is the deal with headlight washers for Europe. Given the cars are made in Germany Im sure the US will get the same features as the European ones.

In Europe it is a legal requirement for headlight washers if you have Xenon headlights (they also have to be self levelling depending on the weight in the car) So this includes B8 A4 with the LED running lights and the Xenon+ pack. In the UK you can only have Xenons and the LEDs on the S Line pack. Across Europe the Xenons/LEDs are part of the Premium/ExKlusiv/External S Line packs depending on the market.

If you have the Standard or SE Spec A4 this does not come with Xenons. Therefore Audi have left the headlight washers off this spec with the Halogens as there is no legal requirement to supply them. If you spec a car with the LED running lights you will get the washers I am sure

I have the headlight washers on my B8 S Line and they are used every 5th screen wash.

Obviously this could change for the US Market as the video link you supplied shows a B8 with LEDs but without the washers.

yeah actually I am from germany and want to import an a4, therefore, I need the headwashers
I am just wondering that on the video the a4 that is an us one has washers but i cannot find them on audusa.com

So you are in Germany wanting a US car or in the US wanting a German car?

Just get the S Line spec as it comes with them. The bumper is a different design and includes them.
