I have found a lot of chatter on the new xenon led headlights and if they can be swapped with the lower headlights found on the 2.0t

does anyone have any proof or pictures if this can be done. it seems like if you buy the xenon/leds and then buy a converter it can be done but i have not found any proof of this. would the leds burn up? it is just a simple switch and go?

I am assuming the power ballast that drives the HID lights is pretty different from the standard bulbs. Sometimes companies will make kits that will allow you to upgrade, but I think it is rarely a simple switcharoo.
