just wonder about the mpg of 2.0 tdi 143. heard lots of reports of 45 mpg?? its the only thing that holding me back on one thanks much appreciated oh and is it heavy on oil?

 

I'm pleased with gas mileage...averaging 35 mpg. First road trip in my 2012 A4, drove from Upstate SC to Asheville NC 32 mpg going up the mountain....38 mpg coming back down home. I was not expecting such good results. I do use premium 93 gas. I'm scheduled for 5K service, oil consumption monitor shows my level is full.

Operational/maintenance costs I believe will be better than comparable vehicles.
