Having a problem with Audi warranty and I hope someone can help!! So I have an 09 a4 that has 60k miles on it. Back when it was in warranty I ran into the consumption problem. At that time they did "stage 1". After my warranty expired I had the Apr chip put on. A little after that the consumption problem came back and they did the test and found they needed to do stage 2 (which is new pistons). Now Audi warranty is denying the cost because of the chip. Since the problem was before the chip is there anything I can do!? Any help would be appreciated!!!

 

Unfortunately, any mfr will look for reasons not to perform expensive warranty repairs. You gave them an easy out. I'm sure this is not what you wanted to hear. You will probably find small print somewhere in the warranty that voids it if there are after-market modifications.
