I have an older BlackBerry and the bluetooth connection for making/answering phone calls works flawlessly. I use it all the time. You should be good!

Not sure what happened but text messages are now being read to me through the Bluetooth in my A4. So, as of now, the car is perfect. I'll be glad when I get enough miles on it so I can run it up to the redline as I row through the 6 speeds of my manual gearbox. I am sooooo glad I got the manual as this is the main reason I traded my BMW 335d. While I really enjoyed the torque of the diesel engine, the automatic tranny just made the car rather boring to drive especially on back roads.
