2011 A4 AMI Volume level help
Hello all,
I have an A4 with B&O/AMI with iPod cable. I'm facing some issues with sound levels and I was hoping someone might be able to help.
Now I know there's the dual DAC issue - the iPod outputs analog sound that has already run through an Apple DAC only to then run through the B&O DAC. This has been used to fob me off and to explain the difference in sound levels, I don't buy this. There's reference to a setting to compensate for this:

(post 2) does anyone know if this is possible? It's an utter pain that I get pounded if I switch from iPod to any other source. (I've tried to increase the AUX level - it makes a tiny bit of difference)
Additionally, and arguably more annoyingly, I'm finding the volume levels between tracks have been normalised or something similar. One example is the beginning of the Muse album Absolution. There is an intro track which increases in volume steadily from 0 to 100 and then carries on at that volume for track 2. What happens now is that the second track suddenly cuts down in volume.
Thirdly, and rather oddly, when skipping tracks it will suddenly rise in volume for a fraction of a second before skipping to the next track.
I am begging for help if anyone can shed any light on any of the above? It's really doing my head in!
