Hi guys


Just signed up after picking up my A4 yesterday.
When I go into phone setting it says "telephone not installed".
I've tried to set the phone and the car via bluetooth but I've been sitting there a good 3 or 4 minutes without them locating.

Whats wrong?

IS there the possibility that this isnt an option on the car at all and I'll need to contact Audi to get it actually installed?

Most of the A4's came without the BT option. If you did not specifically ask prior to buying the car then you most likely don't have it. To get it dealer installed is extremely expensive and most dealers will not do it. Good luck

If your has Bluetooth but the phone will not pair, make sure your phone is compatible. Don't remember anymore how to find the list (it's on the Audi USA site) but it will list all phones that will work on your particular car. Sometimes a phone that's a couple years newer than the car might not work. The Bluetooth module is programmed with every phone on the market,,,,,,,,,at the time the module was built.

Just remember running into that problem time and time again when I was an Audi tech.
