Default 09 A4 Good/BAd

I have been waiting for details to come out on this vehicle for a couple monthes and it finally happened, now there are a couple things I am not to thrilled with. What do you guys think?

B&O Stereo not an option (have to have prestige package)
Advanced Key not an option (have to have prestige package)
Navigation is $2500

So now I have to decide if I am willing to pay the extra for prestige just to get these options? Also, Dealer doesn't know if any prestige vehicles will be delivered to them.

is NAV really worth $2500?

Should I opt of 07 3 Series instead?

None of that irks me. Not offering DSG/S-tronic does however.

Default Agreed, Lack of DSG is Frustrating

My biggest complaints are the lack of DSG and the need to move up to Prestige for the S Line package.

Was at '09 A4 new model training a couple weeks ago, from what I saw they will be excellent cars. From a tech's point of view, a lot of changes to learn, mainly the networking systems and things like the available dynamic steering system (it's very bizarre). From a customers point of view, I have a pretty good feeling anyone buying a new A4 will love the car. One thing, thoroughly read the owners manual, especially the part about the operation of the ignition "key" and access start functions (one button now) to prevent an accidental battery drain situation. The new chain driven 2.0 should be a good engine without the problems the belt driven 2.0 has. From what I could gather, some option pkg's will be modified somewhat. Just as a side note: The wheels off any previous model years will NOT fit the '09. The offset is different as well as the center register hole, at least with OEM Audi rims. Enjoy your new A4's!

I wish the wheels and tires from the S-Line model were available separately. They look so frickin awesome! I just ordered a 2.0T Prestige but my agent told me that none of the S-Line parts or accessories would be available individually unless you buy the whole package. (I was originally going to order a S-Line but from what I hear, those models are on hold indefinately!)

Default S Line Wheels

They definitely are. They look straight off the RS6:

Actually, those weren't the ones I was thinking of. Maybe I was mistaken about them being S-Line wheels. The ones in the photo look good too.

The 19" S-line wheels on the '09 A4 Sport have a similar pattern to the RS's but are completely different. The spokes are more elongated and have a more "polished" look to them. Too bad Audi isn't offering them to non-S-line A4's.
