Angry Xmas nightmare.. dpf light, limp mode and stranded miles from home

Hi everyone, a very merry Xmas to you all.

I am in need of advice, having already spent £1000 I don't have on my 2007 A4tdi 170 I(redundancy beckons..typical) .. I was 200 miles down the M6 with family (baby in car!) and my car went into limp mode and about ten minutes later the DPF light came on, followed by the exhaust warning light.

I had no choice but to drive home today in the storms due to emergencies at home caused by the gales, 3 hours driving and all in limp mode..and DPF light still on.

Am tempted to have a little investigation regarding the DPF sensor but am wondering whether it's worth doing then getting the codes reset and also whether this would cause limp mode??

ANY tips would be great.. Am at end of my tether and with redundancy just around corner can't really change car right now!!

Thanks

Si

Fluid full?

Fault codes will be needed really to proceed further.

Fluid levels all fine.

Looks like I need to get my local independent to scan it although I fear they are close until new year.

Thanks

Fault codes: p0299 under boost on turbo. Turbo is newly fitted but this code has appeared once before since it was fitted.

P2002: which is to do with the DPF

Car is in limp mode constantly now?

My head is battered

Well I finally got the car back about 10 days ago. The garage did a forced regen on the DPF and that sorted that out. But the turbo boost issue couldnt be traced to any leak of any kind so the recon turbo I had not long since had fitted went back and has been replaced by a new recon unit.

Was running great for about a week but yesterday I was on a short stretch of duel carriageway and LIMP MODE..again. The limp mode cleared when I pulled over and turned off the engine but later that day it came on again.(cleared again once engine off)

I havent had it scanned yet but it really is driving me crazy.. I'm in the middle of redundancy at my factory and cant afford to be trading her in or paying out yet more money for repairs!.. the only only thing worth mentioning is that the ECON light on the air con is constantly on.. but I am pretty sure that has nothing to do with this limp mode.

PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME..
