Mine is breaking too. Have to get a new one soon.

 

Speaking of dipsticks, what the hell do they make them out of? First time I ever check my car's oil after I bought it ( CPO at around 30,000 miles) it disintegrated inside. the little plastic ball that's mid-way on the stick and half of the top part got left inside. I kept pulling pieces out with the dipstick every time it went in the next few times. Stealership tried to charge me money for a new dipstick too, but I gave them one of those "I'll murder your children" looks and it was all free.

 

I am exonerated hallellujah! Glad others checked and found dipstick issues. Dudes if u see something Wrong report it!! u might not be the only dipstick with the issue (no pun intended)
