What is the difference between the Color LCD and the red pixelly one?

Pretty sure it's a separate option. I have an '08 s-line and premium package but only red LCD. I do believe color LCD is most common on the 3.2 at least in the US. In Europe the color display is much more common and I've seen it on at least 3 or 4 different engine cars for the b7.
