Default Well, I guess I jinxed it!

I haven't pulled the DV off to verify, but it appears I might have failed DV. I threw a P0299 turbo underboost code this morning and after clearing it, it came back as soon as I got on the gas hard. I ordered the "D" revision replacement from ECS (thanks, 2wdBlazer for the part number and info in the sticky), so I guess I'm limping along with a 2.0 instead of a 2.0T for a few days until I get the part and have time to put it on.

Hope that's the problem--if it's something else, that'll kind of suck!

Good luck. The DV and PCV should be replaced with the items in my sticky and they will never fail again. DV is simple to replace as well.

Sure enough, the DV had a 1cm tear in the diaphragm. DV is fixed, but I put off the PCV swap for now. Got my turbo back! I'm glad that was all it was. I also reprogrammed the quick-fix stuff you can do with a generic (non CAN-BUS) cable (seatbelt chime, amber corner delete, 1-click unlock, and key fob up/down). Soon, I will tackle that PCV...
