ya pretty much around 2800-3000rmp is when it raelly kicks in... at Vtracer, who did you buy your turbo inlet pipe from?

 

thanx eveyone for the input! The car goes in for mods at the end of the month. I'll let eveyone know how it runs after that. (new suspension, GIAC chip and maybe some exhaust work.)

 

good luck with the mods... what type of suspension set-up are you getting?

 

Neuspeed sport coils and bilstein shocks.

 

for my 1.8t i got it from forge/samco (same product)....i havn't seen one out for the 2.0t yet

I had my car chipped with GIAC almost a year ago ... The lag is still there, but right around 2700-2900 RPM, the sh*t kicks.

 

ya, thats where my start to kick in, but obviously not as much as yours does with the chip

 

when you get chipped be sure to get a stronger diverter valve. or did they upgrade those for 08 turbos?

 

well apparently they have updated them, or at least thats what ive heard... but honestly i love the sound of a bov, so i think im going to get one of those adjustable ones either way, probably before i chip my car cuz i cant afford that right now
