at 90 k you should really look into your cam follower its definitely passed its prime, and timing belt should be replaced as well as a safety precaution even tho you could prolly wait a little bit on that
imo i would get both things done

I just hit 109K, bought the car at 107K and I'm pretty sure the timing belt has yet to be changed. I need to get it changed soon, and I will, but my sister's VW Jetta is at 130K without changing the timing belt (would not recommend that at all obviously). Honestly, you should be fine going another 10-20K miles without changing it...

Depending on the source, the mileage for changing the timing belt is different. The booklet that came with my 2006 A4 says to change the belt at 75,000 miles. The maintenance schedule for the same car posted on the Audi website says 115,000 miles. Interestingly, 115,000 kilometers is very close to 75,000 miles, so I wonder if there is a mistake and someone switched miles for kilometers. Problem is, which is right the booklet or website.

After 100k you are due to take out your whole head once that belt snaps no matter what year you have. And the cam follower for the guy at 90K probably has a hole worn in it and is about to take out your cam. Gauranteed. 10 minute job on the follower, so you better check it.
