Just got a set of Thule AeroBlade base racks for my car along with some Thule ski racks. The base racks do seem relatively quiet compared to others I've experienced. I was just curious as to if anyone else had these racks, and if you had any issues with connecting certain carriers to these bars. The only thing I've noticed so far is that the distance between footpacks that Thule recommends for our cars is about half a centimeter to wide. At that distance the foot pads don't lay correctly in the rain rail on the roof. An easy fix with some trial fitting and adjusting.
