Thoughts on 2008 Audi A4 3.2 Quattro
Hello Everybody,
First off, I want to say, that I am new to the site. I want to introduce myself before I go further on. I am 23 years of age, from the city of champs, BOSTON MA ! I always been a lexus fan, never really look into Audi like that. Im thinking about purchasing a new a car, not sure when, but I want to gather some information before I do. With that being said, for the last few days, Ive been checking out the Audis. And I came across the 2008 A4 3.2 Quattro, this looks like a nasty car. Im not sure what to say about it but all around it looks flawless, from the interior all the way to outside to the interior. But you guys all know wah they say about a book, dont judge it bases on its cover. So Im here because i have some concerns about this car, but hopefully hear nothing but good about it! Any behaves or comments that will help me determine on following through with this car, will be appreciated!

Not sure I am going to be much help, but I will throw in my $0.02 worth! If you are looking for a car to modify (increase power) the 2.0 Audis appear to better suited for that. More after market and performance parts. The 3.2 does have it advantages too. No turbo lag and more power standard. You also avoid some of the known issues (PCV, diverter valve). Over all the cars are solid and dependable. I would have bought one, but I liked the better fuel economy I get from the four.

Most people here will be haters on the 3.2. Including me. If you want a stock, reliable car the 3.2 is excellent. If you care about any performance or any aftermarket support, the 2.0t will be much better suited. Most people who get the 3.2 ask about upgrades and quickly realize they bought the wrong engine.
Again keeping it stock, its a fine motor.

2008 3.2L Sline is the best A4 you can possibly own. Hands down. It is the one affordable Audi I would personally own myself. Don't listen to the modders those guys are just destroying their 2.0 anyways, killing the resale value because no one wants a hacked up A4 anyways.

Not all 2.0 owners are modders and I doubt all of them are ruining there cars either. I think modding does create a different resale situation than a stock car.
I choose my 2.0 not for the modding. I wanted the increased fuel economy that came with it. On average I can expect to get 5+ miles more per gallon than the 3.2. Since I commute 47 miles each way for work each day that increase was very important to me. Works out to about $15 less in gas each week or $60 over the month and about $720 a year (figured at $3.25/gal).
