strange noise from front suspension/ brake/ steering
Hi,
I am wrinting this post, since you are almost my last hope. Unfortunately I couldn't find any old posts related to my problem...
Problem: When driving slow and steering there is a howling noise from the front axis.
(made a youtube video lenkgeraeusch - YouTube )
I have the feeling that the noise is from the front suspension (either brakes, axis or steering). It happens only when driving slow, after riding for 30 minutes or more (probably because everything in the front heats up from the engine)
The noise emerged the first time after changing front brakes (pads and rotors) and making an axis alignment (both at the same appointment at the audi-dealer - original audi parts)
In order to get rid of the noise, the dealer changed the break caliper seals. This helped for 2 weeks, now the noise is back (car is still under factory warranty until June 13)
Car is an 2009 Audi A4 Cabrio 2.0T 2wd, S-Line, and with wheels of following size 235/40 R18
Does anybody have an idea where the noise might come from and how to fix it?
Thanks in advance
BR Andy
