Spacers

Spacers
Hey guys,
I've purchased 20" wheels for next summer. Looking to put on spacers also. Have never done that before and need your help. I think 10mm would look good but am totally open to suggestions. Read some places that some B7 users have experienced vibrations in high speed after installing spacers. Was hoping to avoid that. Maybe some have tried some spacers out there which makes a nice fit for our car?
Cost does not matter. I'll buy what ever spacers if they are right. I drive a 2007 mod avant S-Line.

also need to know the width of wheel and tire size you are going to run, because there is NO 20" tire sizes that are even close to the same rolling diameter as stock, and it would be wise to get a 5th wheel and tire because of this. Your speedo will be quite a bit off, and you are going to have clearance problems with the increased rolling diameter with a lowered suspension. Good luck

Actually, a lot of people go for the ET 35 offset, so you may not even need spacers. I would suggest putting on the wheels first and seeing how it looks. My stock wheels are ET 43, and I have 12mm spacers in the front, and 15mm in the rear, so that would be equivalent to 4mm in front and 7mm in the rear with your wheels. As for brands, ECS Tuning and H&R are generally well regarded.

Sorry, this might be dumb question that I think I know the anwser to. You put the spacers on to push the wheels out a little correct? You are not trying to push them out past the fender (think 90's honda ricer) just closer to give it a full look?
