OK, just got the kit, and want to make sure I've got it figured out... do I plug all the ballast plugs into the bulb plugs and then take the red/black wires and put them into the socket on the car? Or do some of the bulb/ballast plugs plug into the car socket somewhere?

The ballast plugs into your car. Then the ballast connects to your bulbs. Everything is plug and play.
There is an extra wire harness that comes attached to the bulbs, but your dont need them and can pull them right off. Its for cars where the plugs on the car (female connection) are too pushed in or old and in that case you can use the pins to put them in, and connect that wire to the ballast. But in your car you dont need those extra wires. You can pull them right out.
If you are still confused about something let me know, i can send you pictures if necessary.
