Hi, I just purchased a 2005.5 Audi A4 2.0T automatic a few days back. Today I drove it about 120 miles on the freeway going about 80mph. When i got home, i shifted into reverse to back into my driveway. The car felt like it was about to stall, so I gave it a little gas, and the engine reved for a second, and the car didn't move, then there was a bang (reverse engaging?) and the car backed as normal.

Any idea what caused this? Should I be concerned? Car only came with a 30 day warranty so if this is a problem, I'd like to have it fixed ASAP!

Sounds like either the tranny fluid is low (leaking on the way home?), OR the solenoids in the tranny that control shifting are sticking.. Either way.. take it in to get the codes read and tranny looked at.
